This smoothie is full of protein, fiber, omega 3’s and much more. This is a great snack for the children if you have any. Try giving them a smoothie instead of cookies, cakes and candies.

Yields: 1 serving
Ingredients:
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 1 cup almond milk
- ½ cup filtered water
- 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
- 1-inch piece ginger
- ½ tsp. pure vanilla extract
- Powdered ginger, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Place all the ingredients, in the order listed, in the blender. Let sit for 5 minutes. Blend on high until smooth and creamy. Sprinkle with a little powdered ginger.
